Financial Controller 
  • Annual Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (DOE)

Reed Finance are partnering with a dynamic and growing international FinTech business to recruit their first in-house Financial Controller. This role is perfect for individuals looking to take the next step in their career and who has ambitions to grow into a CFO further down the line with this business.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and manage trial balance and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare consolidated Monthly Management Accounts for the UK, France, and US.
  • Handle vendor payments and process staff expenses and credit card transactions.
  • Manage client invoicing and weekly credit control, liaising with clients as needed.
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations of incoming and outgoing transactions.
  • Prepare payroll data to be sent to an external payroll provider.
  • Manage day-to-day finance transactions and related queries.
  • Assist the senior management team with tasks including preparing budgets, records, and statements for month-end and year-end reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Professional Finance Qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 
  • Strong analytical and IT skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Fluent in English; a basic understanding of French will be beneficial.
