FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

London Hotels Group, West End London

We are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join our team at the venue. This role involves working closely with our General Manager to drive the Finance Strategy, focusing on revenue maximization and cost minimization. Your responsibilities will include producing accurate financial reports, forecasting, and attending monthly board review meeting,

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce financial reports including revenue forecasts, cost analyses, profitability assessments, P&L accounts, and budget packs
  • Monitor correct billing of revenues and cash control
  • Implement efficient control systems for forecasting and controlling expenditure, including payroll and gross margins
  • Attend monthly board review meetings

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge and experience in hospitality, either in an operational role or a junior finance position
  • Relevant financial qualification or currently working towards one
  • Understanding of payroll/productivity for the events industry, and wet and dry stocks
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

You will work on-site Monday to Friday, supported by an Assistant Financial Controller and two Finance Assistants.
