What you'll do:

As Financial Controller you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's firm. Your expertise in overseeing accounting operations will be crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will also be responsible for managing cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations and loan book financing. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also oversee the performance of the company's debt portfolio. This includes collaborating with the underwriting team to evaluate loans and provide input on deal structuring and financing.

  • Oversee all accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for senior management and investors.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors to ensure timely filing of accounts and accurate audits.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations and loan book financing.
  • Oversee the performance of the company's debt portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to evaluate loans and provide input on deal structuring and financing.
  • Liaise with borrowers and lenders on the loan book.
