Financial Controller

A well-established, privately owned property investment company in Hampstead, who own a diverse portfolio of properties across London are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller / Accountant to join their team. As the Financial Controller / Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, finance, and tax matters for several companies within their portfolio. This pivotal role requires strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller / Accountant:

• Manage all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations.
• Oversee tax planning, preparation, and submissions.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple group entities.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, HMRC, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and provide strategic financial recommendations.
• Utilise accounting software such as Sage and Xero effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, from real estate or property investment.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of accounting software including Sage and Xero.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple entities and meet tight deadlines.
