Financial Controller FTC - Immediate Start - Competitive Salary - Colchester - 37.5 hour week - Manufacturing Industry

A manufacturing and production client of ours in the Colchester area are seeking an immediately available highly skilled Financial Controller to join their company on a fixed-term contract basis (3 months but may extend!).
The successful candidate will report into the CFO and manage all aspects of financial control and reporting, ensuring the business operates in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will collaborate with senior management to provide accurate financial information, enabling informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities within this Financial Controller FTC role will include but are not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage cash flow, forecasts, and working capital requirements.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audits.
• Lead and work with the finance team, ensuring optimal performance and development.
• Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance against budget.

Skills & Desired Requirements:

• Immediate Start
• Part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a Senior Finance role such as Finance Manager or Financial Controller
• Manufacturing experience (desirable but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
