FP&A Manager

An FP&A Manager is sought by one of the UK's leading investment vehicles who have committed over 7bn in new investments since 2019 alone. With over 150 individual debt and equity backed investments across sectors including infrastructure, environmental, digital, agriculture and emerging markets located all over the world, their remit is to achieve a financial return that can be reinvested to generate a greater impact.

The post of FP&A Manager is a newly created role that has been driven by growth. The role reports to the Head of FP&A and responsibilities include:

• Assist in preparing the monthly operating costs review inc. headcount reporting.
• Prepare monthly operating expense reports by cost centre and ensure correct allocation of costs.
• Analyse broad investment costs, appraise whether cost savings can be rolled out across more widely.
• Provide significant analysis of variance to budget; offer meaningful commentary & investigate.
• Contribute to the overall company budgets & forecasts; own various sections of these.
• Support a range of non-finance stakeholders with a range of cost & investment related queries.
• A wide range of ad hoc projects.

The successful candidate for the post of FP&A Manager will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with proven FP&A experience.
• Possess at least some experience in financial services, investment management or private equity.
• Enjoy communicating with - and presenting to - senior finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Thrive when working with large amounts of data (exposure to Power BI / SQL an advantage)

Salary: 90000 - (phone number removed) + 9% pension + 30 days holiday + benefits.
