An esteemed international professional services firm is seeking a part qualified Management Accountant to support the Head of Finance. This role is integral to the delivery of operational services, compliance work, and management and financial reporting, with a focus on the French business. The ideal candidate will have experience in French accountancy and tax matters and may hold a qualification from a recognised French accountancy body.
Day to Day of the role:
- Support the preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory accounts returns for the French business, including monthly and annual returns.
- Assist with project work of a financial nature for the firm’s business in France or elsewhere.
- Aid in the preparation of management and budgetary information, including commentary, to meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual accounts for review by senior management.
- Support in the analysis of general ledger accounts for taxation purposes and internal reviews.
- Provide general reconciliation work and additional reporting services as required.
- Respond to financial queries from stakeholders to enhance their understanding of financial information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part Qualified Accountant ideally finalist level with experience in French accountancy and tax matters.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to manage a varied workload.
- Strong IT skills with a problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Professional maturity and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
