We are an innovative renewable energy company experiencing high growth, with an impressive turnover of £350 million. Backed by a leading energy firm, we are currently in the market for an experienced Group Financial Controller. This is a newly created role offering an outstanding opportunity to participate in the active growth of our business.

As the Group Financial Controller, you will manage a small team and play a critical role in consolidating and reporting our finances. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in implementing a new ERP system and have the rare opportunity to build a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function in the future.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the group's finance function, including the management and development of a small dedicated team.
  2. Lead the process of group consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  3. Deliver on all statutory reporting requirements.
  4. Drive the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring an effective transition.
  5. Develop and implement strong financial controls and procedures.
  6. Have the vision and responsibility to build an FP&A function.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. ACA qualification
  2. Proven experience in a similar role within a sizable organization.
  3. Experience within the energy/renewable/construction sector is desirable but not essential.
  4. Strong technical accounting skills paired with solid experience in group consolidations and statutory reporting.
  5. Experience in managing teams and implementing ERP systems (desirable)
  6. Excellent communication skills.

Salary

£90,000 - £110,000 depending on experience as well as 25% bonus.
