A listed Technology business is recruiting a Group Financial Controller. This role is reporting directly to the CFO in a successful International business with a successful track record of performmance and profitability. The successful candidate, you will play a major part in driving future expansion plans and building a first class Finance function with the CFO.
As the Group Financial Controller, you will lead the financial accounting and management reporting teams. You will work closely with senior colleagues to drive performance. You will drive understanding of the business through clear and effective reporting and strong financial controls. This is a high profile and varied role, taking overall responsibility for all accurate and robust management accounting, financial reporting, audit and the AP / cash management teams. You will be expected to introduce a new suite of Management Information reporting, other system improvements and effective cashflow management. This role will also be involved in new investment capex projects and budgeting/forecasting for the business as well as having significant exposure and interaction with senior board stakeholders. This role will manage a sizeable team underneath you (15 in total).
The successful candidate for the Group Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate the ability to lead a finance team in a fast paced and established but growing business. Any sector experience will be considered but someone needs to have strong reporting experience including US GAAP. Someone with team management will be needed.
This role is paying a superb six figure basic salary (£180-200k) plus significant bonus, stock options and benefits package. The role will involve regular travel.
