Part time qualified accountant £50K pa full time pro rata'd for 3 days plus excellent bens
My client, a professional membership body based in Central London, are looking for a part time Head of Finance to lead their finance function. The company are responsible for maintaining professional standards in their field and operate governance, education and training capacity.
The Head of Finance (HoF) will report to the MD and assume overall responsibility for the running of the companies commercial activities as well as all statutory responsibilities. Managing a small team you will oversee the production of management accounts and be responsible for the balance sheet and monthly financials. As a qualified accountant, you will have had experience of working with auditors to ensure integrous year end accounts are produced in a timely fashion. In addition to the accountancy duties, you will advise on investments and appraise new commercial ventures for viability.
Working 3 days per week of which some can be from home, this role would suit a fractional FD or FC or perhaps a senior accountant and experienced manager, looking for an interesting role but without the commitment of full time working.
The working environment is professional yet casual, suiting someone who is aiming for both flexibility and autonomy.
