IFRS17 Accountant - Central GovernmentMacildowie is delighted to be partnering with a Central Government linked organisation seeking two roles, one IFRS9 and one IFRS17 experienced individual for initially a 12 month contract but scope to extend beyond this. They are based central London however predominantly remote as only 1 day per week on site so could work if travelling from further afield.If you hold current SC clearance that would prove desirable however it is not a requirement.IMPORTANT - although this is for a public sector organisation, experience in the sector is not a minimum requirement so if you have the IFRS9 or IFRS17 knowledge within purely commercial businesses please still apply.Role - IFRS17- Providing IFRS 17 technical accounting advice and guidance- Practical IFRS 17 implementation experience- Building and developing Excel models performing accounting and modelling calculations- Preparing Transition Accounts- Designing and supporting new processes, controls, and Working Day Timetables (WDT)- Designing, implementing, and testing the future state systems and solutions- Supporting the wider FRC ProgrammeDetails - Inside IR35 paying £650-£750 per day via umbrellaIf you possess IFRS17 experience and are open to an interim contract please apply ASAP as the deadline for this post is 11am Thursday 19th September.
