About you
Our client is seeking a skilled Assistant Management Accountant for a fixed-term 9-month contract. The ideal candidate will have experience leading bank reconciliations and supporting month end duties by preparing management accounts. They will assist the finance team during a systems transition project by testing and documenting changes. This role also offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced finance manager, providing the candidate with valuable opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic environment.
What we are looking for (essentials):
- (Part)Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant
- Experience in retail/consumer goods/FMCG /product-based industries
- Experience in preparing management accounts and supporting month end
- Strong communication and planning skills
- A positive attitude to learning
What we are looking for (bonuses):
- Exposure to systems migration/implementation projects
Location: London, Zone 1 (Hybrid)
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
