Interim Financial Accountant - Local Government

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Financial Accountant to support their Chief Accountant in the preparation and delivery of their annual statement of accounts for both the upcoming and historical years. Joining a small team, you will get exposure to a variety of areas across the statement of accounts.

This position requires a CCAB/CIMA qualified or part-qualified Financial Accountant with experience working on year end accounts within a public sector body; local authority experience would be a bonus. To be the successful candidate for this opportunity you will enjoy working with numbers and have an eye for detail.

This is contract is available on a fully remote basis if preferred.
