Your new companyI am currently working with a law firm who are looking for an interim Financial Controller. Based in Central London, reporting into the Financial Director, this role will play a critical part within the company.
Your new roleThe key responsibilities include -
- Lead and manage financial reporting, month-end processes, ownership of balance sheet
- Lead and mentor the finance team in all operational activities
- Regulatory and Statutory Reporting requirements
- Responsible for managing the external audit and corporate tax and VAT
- Manage key relationships with external stakeholders
- Support and assist the CFO with external relationships and understanding software
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE
- Legal industry experience
- Team management
- Experience with audit, month end, process controls, UK GAAP, statutory and group financial reporting
- Corporation tax and VAT experience
- Excellent stakeholder management
