Interim Financial Controller

Media Technology Business

£65,000 - £80,000 DOE

Based: London

A Media Technology business are looking to hire an Interim Financial Controller on a 6 month FTC basis to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the accounting for all statutory entities within the business.

The Interim Financial Controller manages 2 direct reports, ensuring the accuracy of their work and contributing to their ongoing development. The role is responsible for driving technical accounting under local and US GAAP, as well as leading the financial controls and taking responsibility for maintaining accurate balance sheets. Collaborating alongside European accounting departments as well as other key parts of the business, you will take a key lead in developing and creating excellent working relationships. The position also manages audit relationships, ensuring compliance with reporting authorities, and oversees outsourced activities like RTR, OTC and P2P.Key tasks involve reviewing statutory financial statements, technical accounting documents, tax filings, and performance disclosures while contributing to team development and internal control processes.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CAANZ) or equivalent, with previous experience of providing finance leadership within a commercial environment.
