Ignata Finance are working with a leading business located in Kings Cross for the recruitment of a Interim Financial Accountant.  This is a good mix of commercial and technical which will expose you to group  accounting/consolidations, mergers and acquisitions and complex financial reporting. This is a newly created position which has been formed to improve efficiency, accuracy and the reliability of information across the group.   This role sits within the senior management team and you will be responsible for promoting and building relationships with key stakeholders as well as driving and influencing change. This is a progressive opportunity which will pave the way to future roles which will advance your accounting and commercial experience.Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience of reporting under IFRS (essential)
  • Previous experience of working within a group function
  • Previous experience of auditing large businesses
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the production of year end statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Managing audit and preparing statutory accounts / Consolidation / Tax compliance. 
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated balance sheet and cash flow for management accounts. 
  • Managing the accounting and payroll team of 9 people 
  • Management of the balance sheet and tax compliance
  • Acquisition integration and rationalization of corporate structure
