Our ClientA leading housing management organisation providing affordable housing solutions and services to the community.The RoleAs an interim management accountant, your primary role is to deliver professional and comprehensive management accounting services. You will support decision-making and financial planning by preparing accurate financial information, ensuring that the organisation operates efficiently.Main duties include:
  • Supporting all aspects of budgeting, financial performance reporting, and forecasting.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts that are timely and meaningful.
  • Liaising with budget holders to ensure understanding and managing of budgets, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Preparing cash flow reports, highlighting periods of pressure for the executive team and board.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the 5-year budget and annual statutory accounts.
  • Supporting ad-hoc financial projects as required.
The Successful Candidate
  • Part-qualified (CCAB) or working towards a recognised finance qualification.
  • Experienced in preparing and presenting management accounts, explaining variances, and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Experience in a housing provide OR in care and support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other IT tools, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
