Interim Management Accountant | Scale-up Luxury Fashion Brand | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growth luxury fashion brand to find an Interim Management Accountant to support their team for 6 months.

The Client

Our client is a high-end luxury womenswear retailer that takes immense pride in their vintage-inspired, classic pieces. Loved by celebrities and fashion editors internationally and recognized for their presence at London Fashion Week, this is an exciting time to join the team as they continue their strong growth trajectory. Recognizing work-life balance, this role offers 2 days working from home and 3 days in their beautiful London office.

The Role

As Interim Management accountant, you shall be report into the incoming finance manager, managing the end-to-end management accounts. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in reconciliations, be familiar with preparing trial balances for product-based businesses and have a proven track record of building management accounts from the ground up. The finance team is also expanding and undergoing a systems move to NetSuite which you shall be supporting this shift.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and delivering Management Accounts
  • Preparing and posting monthly journals
  • Leading bank reconciliations and stock reconciliations
  • Handling accruals, prepayments, and staff expenses
  • Supporting systems transition project
  • Overseeing AP and AR activities

What we need to see (essential)

  • (Part) Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience in stock/product-based businesses
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Passionate about SMEs/Scale-ups

What we need to see (bonus)

  • Experience using NetSuite would be beneficial
  • Experience in Retail/Fashion/E-Commerce

Location: London (Hybrid)

Day Rate: £250-£300 per day (Inside IR35)
