Sonic Summary

The Year End Accountant position is a 5-6 month contract based in Central London with hybrid working options.
The role offers a salary range of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum and requires candidates to be ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified.
Applicants should have strong statutory accounting and tax knowledge, as well as experience in large group consolidation and preparation of year-end financial statements.
A working knowledge of IFRS 16 reporting requirements and experience leading external audits are also essential for this role.

Year End Accountant (May - September, 5-6 month month contract)

Central London

Hybrid working

£55,000 - 60,000 per annum

We are currently seeking an ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified Financial Accountant to support the year-end process within a large, complex group organisation. This is a project role starting in May, making it ideal for professionals currently available and able to commit to this time frame or those completing in roles/contracts shortly.

Experience required

Excellent statutory accounting and tax knowledge
Large group consolidation experience
Preparation of year end financial statements
A working knowledge of IFRS 16 reporting requirements
Previous experience leading and supporting external audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
Ideally experience managing/supervising staff

You may be a professional contractor adept at carrying out year end accounting projects within varied environments, or you may be someone finishing a permanent role shortly and looking for an interesting project to enhance your experience, having led audits within previous roles.
