Interim Reporting Accountant – 12 Month FTCJoin a leading specialty insurance group for an exciting opportunity as an Interim Reporting Accountant. This is a chance to work within a dynamic Finance team, taking responsibility for both internal and external financial reports, including all relevant regulatory returns and project work.Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and review syndicate reporting for regulatory bodies (QMA, QMB, Solvency II, US and Canadian reporting).
  • Prepare and review annual and underwriting year financial statements.
  • Develop analytical tools and provide detailed reports to support queries and decision-making.
  • Support audit processes by coordinating with internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance and process improvements.
  • Contribute to finance transformation projects, collaborating across teams for increased efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and assist in the management of reporting deliverables.
Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or CIMA) with expertise in Lloyd’s accounting, UK GAAP, and Solvency II.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
