Interim Senior Accountant - Insurance
An exciting interim senior finance opportunity has arisen for a growing insurance group in the city. They are looking for a qualified accountant with a demonstrable experience within the London insurance market to both provide support across their reporting for their various entities, through to identifying and making improvements as to how their finance function works including process improvement, documentation and implementation. Core responsibilities will include
- Technical and regulatory reporting including assistance with quarterly solvency returns, SFCR and ORSA. Through to completion of UW data for actuaries
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and income statements and assisting with Annual Financial Statements
- The high level of project work will include systems and process improvements, documentation, systems development around building out their reporting suite
You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical and regulatory reporting background gained within the London insurance market. As well as the ability and willingness to produce and close out quarterly and monthly reporting, you will have experience in improving process and streamlining reporting within an insurance environment. As an interim opportunity, there is a real opportunity to add value to the development of how this finance team works.
