We are recruiting for an interim International Tax Controller to join an international insurance broker for an initial 3-month contract (with possible extension/permanent offer post the contract).

The role is based in London and the business is operating on a hybrid working model.

Candidates must be available to start by the 1st week of December 2024.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on non-UK tax reporting to support the insurance firm's growth outside the UK.
  • Assist with the implementation and delivery of CBCR and Pillar II systems.
  • Oversee the International Tax Provisioning process
  • Review quarterly tax reports for non-UK businesses, improve governance, and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements.
  • Assist non-UK businesses with tax forecasting and consolidate forecasts.
  • Prepare current and deferred tax calculations for non-UK businesses to support quarterly and annual Group tax reporting.
  • Review non-UK corporate tax returns and payments.
  • Work with shareholder tax advisors to maintain US tax elections.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tax or Accountancy qualifications (CIOT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Available to start in December 2024
  • Experience in IFRS tax accounting.
  • Proven experience in managing the International Tax Provisioning process.
  • Strong skills in tax/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Systems implementation experience is a bonus!
