Interim Senior Reporting AccountantAn exciting opportunity has opened for an Interim Senior Reporting Accountant within a global specialty insurance group. The role involves overseeing the production of internal and external financial reports, including regulatory returns and management information, as well as supporting various projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review syndicate reporting (QMA, QMB, Solvency II, US and Canadian situs reporting).
  • Produce financial statements for both annual and underwriting year periods.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to support business decision-making.
  • Support audit processes, liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, contributing to process improvements and transformation projects.
  • Provide support and leadership to junior team members in the Reporting function.
Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or CIMA) with knowledge of Lloyd’s accounting, UK GAAP, and Solvency II.
  • Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and report writing.
  • Able to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
