Are you an experienced IT Audit Controller with project management experience looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading IT services company in the financial and banking sector? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team in London. As an IT Audit Controller, you will play a crucial role in project management and providing efficient control functions. This is a 6-month contract position, with the potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior management in IT assessment projects and internal/external audits
Provide technical and administrative control functions in a timely manner
Communicate and represent the team's interests with different business sections
Manage documentation and ensure adherence to administrative procedures
Handle enquiries from internal and external auditors
Participate in system support and monitor operational issues
Act on behalf of senior management in their absence
Stay updated on audit, regulatory, and compliance trends in the banking sector
Understand IT infrastructure, database management, and software development processes
Possess knowledge of financial accounting and business data analysis
Ensure compliance with rules and regulations in the IT organisation

Skills and Qualifications:

Conversational Japanese speaking skills are essential for this role
Proven experience driving and delivering IT projects, particularly in an audit-related capacity
Familiarity with MS .NET Framework environments, SQL Server, and Oracle databases
Extensive experience in Windows application development or relevant areas
Strong data analysis, operating system installation, and network configuration skills
Previous experience in the IT industry is required
Minimum of a university graduate level
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities in a team environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with business users
