KennedyPearce is partnering with a dynamic and innovative television.We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our production firm. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the accounting field, particularly in the unique environment of the television industry. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with 1 years experience.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory compliance documents.- Collaborate with production teams to track project budgets and expenses.- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.Qualifications:
