My client a top Chinese Bank are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join them on a 12-month FTC. 

The role is working in a small finance team reporting into the Head of Finance. 

Duties: 

  • Operate the core system, ensuring accurate accounting entry input and performing other necessary operations.
  • Prepare daily management information reports and monitor key management and regulatory indicators.
  • Take ownership of expenses, suspense accounts, and cash management; maintain financial statistics and collate information as required.
  • Reconcile Nostro and Vostro accounts, as well as security custodian accounts.
  • Ensure transaction records and data are accurately and timely filed.
  • Complete additional tasks as required by your line manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • ACCA or ACA qualification (or part-qualified) is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Mandarin language skills are preferred.
