A challenging, progressive, and exciting role has become available for a Tour Accountant to work in the Music Industry. Working for a leading International Music practice, the role will be looking after some extremely successful and well-known artists assisting with producing touring and general accounts. A fantastic position for someone with a passion for music, this role will be at the heart of the live touring accounting team and offer progression, study support and exposure to one of the most exciting industries out there!

Suitable for a candidate with a passion for music and with office and accounting experience, this role offers full AAT or ACCA study support and a chance to work with some of the best accountants in the sector.

The role will assist with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to the below tasks:

  • Artist and performer accounts
  • Production accounts, touring accounts and expenses
  • Reporting to senior management, artists managers and artists
  • Budgets and forecasts for current and upcoming tours
  • Bank recs, sales, and purchase ledger
  • Tax duties
  • VAT and general and ad-hoc projects

Working closely with Artists and their Management it is essential the candidate has previous accounting experience, ideally within an accounting practice. The suitable candidate will be a studying or registered accountant (AAT/ACCA) or be a finance and accounting graduate. Music / Entertainment Industry and Tour accounting experience is desirable but a passion for the sector is absolutely essential!
