A fast expanding International Digital Agency is growing their finance team and looking to recruit a strong Management Accountant.

You need to be able to run a full set of accounts for more than 1 entity ideally. We are looking for a self-starter that will be able to take ownership of their work, support the Finance Director on implementation projects and g?row with the agency.

The Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in the financial health and strategic planning of the agency. By preparing detailed financial reports, analysing project costs, and monitoring KPIs, the role ensures operational efficiency and profitability. Close collaboration with senior management and project teams is essential, translating financial data into actionable insights to drive success.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, offering insights via variance analysis and commentary
  • Develop budgets and forecasts while supporting strategic decision-making
  • Monitor project costs against budgets, ensuring alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce overhead costs.
  • Produce financial statements under UK GAAP/IFRS.
  • Oversee VAT returns and assist with regulatory matters.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis for business initiatives.
  • Work with auditors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Engage with project teams to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Fully or partially qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a management accounting role within consulting or project-based industries.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel, with advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
