A well-established asset management firm in Mayfair are looking to a hire Management Accountant to join their team on a hybrid working basis. This newly created position due to business growth will play a pivotal role in providing accurate financial information, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.
Key responsibilities as Management Accountant include:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to management.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts
- Assist in monitoring cash flow and working capital
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including assisting with preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and assisting with the year-end audit.
- Support Month End and Year End close process
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA with financial services industry experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts, with the ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
