An international children’s charity, providing practical and emotional support to vulnerable children and young adults, is seeking a permanent Management Accountant to join them at a time of change and transformation. Responsible for production of monthly management accounts and supporting finance and non-finance staff members in the consolidated reporting, this is an important role for the organisation as it embarks on it’s new five year strategy.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your duties will include the following:
- Production of monthly management accounts, including journals posting, processing of accruals and adjustments as well as providing relevant and insightful commentaries.
- Reporting on restricted and unrestricted income streams and reserves
- Support the Financial Controller in the production of quarterly and annual budgets and reforecasts
- Reconciliation of AP and AR accounts
- Monitoring of cashflow forecasts
- Assist the Financial Controller in the creation and improvement of financial reporting processes
What’s in it for you:
- Salary of £43,000 - £46,000 per annum
- Hybrid working arrangements with 3 days per week in the office and the remainder up to you
- Flexible working times available (Late-start with late finish and vice versa) when needed
About you:
- You will be a part-qualified, finalist level or qualified accountant seeking a role with real career progression opportunities as the organisation grows and develops in the next few years
- You will have hands-on accounts preparation experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a small finance team as the team looks to grow.
