The Management Accountant position in a growing fintech involves handling month-end processes, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical insights.
Key responsibilities include leading the month-end close process, preparing management accounts, and generating MI reports related to KPIs of the loan book.
Candidates should have experience in a fintech or banking environment, particularly with loan books and management accounts preparation.
The role offers a broad exposure to the finance function, skill development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
The position offers hybrid working, with a salary of £50,000 and requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

As Management Accountant working within this growing fintech, you will work across the finance spectrum covering month end, management accounts, budgeting & forecasting and providing analytical insights including;

Leading the month end close process including journals & BS reconciliations
Preparing insightful management accounts with analysis
Preparing value added MI reports particularly around KPI’s associated with the loan book
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Support investor pack reporting and Q&A
Lead on all aspects of AP and payments (small volume)
Support the year-end financial statements and external audit

You will have experience working within a fintech or bank and understand a loan book and associated KPIs and experience of preparing management accounts.

This role offers a broad exposure to the finance function and a chance to develop your skills, take ownership whilst being given support.
