My client is a large secondary academy school, looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their finance team on an initial six month contract, with a strong likelihood of the role converting to a permanent position.The role will have responsibility for providing a wide range of financial analysis and budget planning, alongside the overall production of management accounts to include analysis and commentary.In more detail the role will:
  • Ensure monthly financial statements are produced for all budget holders and ensure the Academy has quality financial information to support decision making.
  • Proactively work with the Head of Finance to ensure budget holders are supported to resolve any concerns or difficulties with their financial performance.
  • Preparation of the annual budgets and medium-term financial plan including ongoing budget management with key stakeholders
  • Ensure accruals and pre-payments are updated accurately, working with the junior finance team members to ensure day to day transactional tasks are accurately
