IN2 Consult are supporting a client based in North of London who are looking for a Management Accountant to join an established team who will ultimately provide support to the Finance Director in producing monthly management reports, including month end, statutory reporting and assisting with the commercial duties of the function. This role will evolve into a more senior role as the business grows and you will get the chance to develop technically with added responsibilities.
Please note, you will be expected to work in the office 5 days a week.
Main Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for the production of management packs
- Preparing month-end reports and P&L statements
- Processing revenue data
- Utilising Excel for data analysis, board reports and presentations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting tasks
- Contributing to statutory accounts preparation
- Professionally qualified in accounting (e.g., ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software Sage X3
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
- Previous exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Industry experience
