Equifind are working with a growing investment firm, who need a qualified management accountant to join the team for the next 12 months, to assist with a mixture of business as usual, and any ad hoc projects that come around.

This impressive company concentrates on infrastructure, in addition to both commercial and industrial real estate. The performance has been highly impressive over the past five years with lots of acquisitions and business activity.

Key duties and responsibilities for this management accountant position include:

  • Preparation of the quarterly management accounts for several corporate entities
  • Responsible for the statutory accounts’ preparation for several entities
  • Assist with the FCA reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of the reports for the board
  • Assist with investor reporting as and when requested by senior management
  • Ensure reconciliations and journal entries are up to date
  • Responsible for all VAT returns in respect of several entities
  • Assist with building a robust controlled framework to ensure reporting is of the highest standard
  • Providing ad-hoc projects as and when needed by senior management.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 1 years’ PQE (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of working within real estate investment or private equity
  • Working knowledge of multiple GAAPs
  • Strong excel systems experience.
  • Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner.

An international investment business with a strong commercial focus across the European market. The business manages over £1 billion AUM in its portfolio and is looking to considerably grow over the coming years.

The London office has over 50 professionals and has a great finance team. This role is exciting and the office is based in a thriving area, so if you like to work closely with people and enjoy the hustle bustle of London, then this could be for you.

The finance team is quite a flat structure so you will work closely with the FC and Head of Finance on a daily basis.

Daily Rate

This exciting opportunity for an accountant will be on a FTC and pay between £60k-£70k depending on experience and background.

This role will be 3 days per week in the office.

This will be for a minimum 12 months, which will allow you plenty of time to integrate with the team and gain some great experience.
