Our client, a leading London OOH agency, is recruiting for an enthusiastic Management Accountant to join their team based in their Central London office on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office & 2 working from home).

As the Management Accountant you will provide essential support to the Directors in delivering timely, and accurate management account reports.

You will be computer literate, diligent, with a proactive attitude and a desire to develop professionally. You will be an integral member of the business, and your professionalism and commitment will be essential in assisting us to continue to grow as a business.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the timely preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, including but not limited to, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accruals and prepayments, fixed asset management, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany management.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary to Group on the monthly accounts.
  • Creating and issuing client invoices.
  • Liaising with leadership for the creation of budgets and forecasting activities.
  • Analyse financial data and trends to provide meaningful insights.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
  • Assist with responding to audit queries, providing audit samples, and liaising with auditors.
  • Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies, in management accounting processes.
  • Posting and reconciling credit card expenses.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Issuing and analysing monthly stock takes.
  • HMRC reporting including VAT via MTD, p11Ds, etc.
  • Managing payroll and the company benefit schemes (vitality, cycle to work, childcare, car leasing, etc.)
  • Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
  • Business partnering with Directors and business stakeholders.
  • Some administrative ad hoc duties when covering the office, such as arranging courier services, answering phone calls, and connecting clients calls to the commercial team.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years management accounting experience
  • Qualified accountant/finalist.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential.
  • Computer literate

In return, the client is offering a salary of up to £50,000 plus some benefits such as company pension scheme, life assurance scheme, cycle 2 work scheme along with Friday breakfasts.
