Management Accountant

London - hybrid working (3 days office / 2 wfh)
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Close Process
- Oversee the monthly reporting cycle for stock and associated balances within the accounting system for all brands across the group, ensuring accurate reporting for multiple areas.
- Prepare reconciliations for related balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
- Provide monthly stock balance reports to relevant business units as needed.
- Manage payroll processing for central and retail staff, including the handling of bonus and incentive accruals, and analyse discrepancies against budgets and forecasts.
- Support additional month-end close processes and conduct analysis as necessary.
Year-End Process
- Act as a primary point of contact for auditors, assisting with audit queries and providing necessary information.
- Assist with the preparation of key disclosures and notes for statutory accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Finance Systems & Reporting manager and the IT team to ensure effective ERP system integration's.
- Provide coaching and training for junior team members, fostering skill development and growth within the team.
About You:
- Newly qualified in CIMA / ACCA - ESSENTIAL.
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Background in retail, general consumer or multi-site operations - Highly advantageous.
- Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
