This is an established and growing IT & Data management business based in London, operating across the UK & internationally. They provide a wide range of services for the management of data centres for various clients.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a recently qualified Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a remote working basis.

Role

The Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner will report to the Regional Finance Director, helping provide financial insight, reporting and strategic guidance. They will take on a number of key duties including:

  • Provide clear monthly Profit & Loss reports and variance analysis.
  • Prepare accurate accounts and business report units including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting for projects and accounts.
  • Monitor revenue associated with projects investigating any variances.
  • Provide financial insight and challenge to senior management to drive any initiatives.
  • Conduct project reviews with Project Managers on a regular basis.
  • Lead and develop junior members within the team to ensure best practices.
  • Provide financial analytics to enhance business performance.
  • Business partner with leadership and external stakeholders to influence decision making.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner position, should have the following attributes:

  • Recently qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or CIMA) with broad experience developed in management accounts.
  • Ideally a background in professional services / project based environment.
  • Experience with revenue recognition.
  • Ability to an effective manner on a fully remote basis.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to support in developing teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Sage Intaact or similar ERP systems would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
