Management Accountant (Fully Qualified)
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Benefits
I am currently partnered with a growing Fintech organisation and supporting them with qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong balance sheet experience to play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis within a growing business.
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for producing accurate financial statements, providing commercial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring the integrity of financial data while identifying areas for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

Own balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.

Assist in the production of year-end financial statements and audit preparations.

Support the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process.

Provide financial insights to aid business performance tracking and decision-making.

Assist in cash flow management, ensuring efficient working capital utilization.

Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Work closely with the AP/AR teams to streamline financial processes.

Collaborate with department heads and senior management to provide financial insights.

Support finance business partnering initiatives, helping teams understand financial implications.
About You:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Proven experience in management accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
