Meraki Talent is delighted to be partnering with a leading recruitment business to support the appointment of a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of the month-end process, while also managing and mentoring an Assistant Accountant who will directly support you in delivering the finance function. The role is based in London, with three days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for the Group
  • Develop reporting packs for the Senior Management Team and Executive Board
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and month-end control processes
  • Provide regular sales reporting and forecasting across the business
  • Collaborate with global sales teams and internal departments as a finance business partner
  • Manage payroll processing and year-end compliance in the UK, US, Singapore, and Australia
  • Oversee Corporation Tax and VAT/GST submissions and payments in all jurisdictions
  • Lead UK and international audits, including statutory accounts preparation
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Drive process improvements and support finance system implementations
  • Supervise and support the Assistant Accountant with day-to-day deliverables
 Person Specification:
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or finalist actively studying towards qualification
  • Strong communication skills, with experience of working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills and solid understanding of financial systems
