They’re now looking to welcome a motivated and aspiring Management Accountant to join their friendly, supportive finance team in this newly created role. You’ll be offered hands-on training and development across a broad range of finance responsibilities, with support to grow and evolve in your role over time. What you’ll be doing:Reporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll be a key player in the team – supporting across all aspects of management accounting while being mentored and trained to eventually take full ownership of these areas. Duties include:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Supporting with the year-end process and statutory accounts
- Producing reports for budget holders and working closely with teams across the organisation
- Helping monitor spend and track performance against budget
- Getting involved in projects to improve processes and reporting
- Learning and developing new finance skills every step of the way
What they’re looking for:
- Someone studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in a finance support role with exposure to management accounting.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with others and is keen to learn
- A proactive, positive mindset with good attention to detail
