A leading global construction and engineering brand are looking to bolster their fast-growing finance team with a new Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will require a high level of collaboration and partnering between the different international brands to improve processes and produce accurate planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the month end process including, legal entity and group financial reporting.
  • Monthly Work in Progress calculation, including foreign currency.
  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation of the monthly trading review pack with input from Brand Analysts.
  • Preparation of VAT and corporate tax returns.
  • Management of the year-end audit process.
  • Prepare schedules for the Financial Statements.
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Support Group and assist with process improvement, automation and seek ways to improve efficiency.
  • Accurate cash and P&L analysis including creation of dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and internal controls.
  • Cross-divisional partnering to derive accurate analysis, planning and modelling.

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACCA and CIMA), ACA will also be considered with relevant post-qualified industry experience. A driven, motivated and communicative candidate would be needed to bring about improvements in partnering and group collaboration across the different brands. Strong technical skills in software and analytics will also be necessary, and experience working within the construction, infrastructure or engineering industries would be advantageous.
