A leading name in the real estate and facilities management industry are looking for a Newly-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) to join their Facilities Management division as a Management Accountant. You will be tasked with maintaining sustainable financial growth through taking over the financial strategy, controls and management information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to company policy and procedures. Reviewing, maintaining and improving cash-flow, margins and reporting.
  • Setting targets and benchmarking processes to challenge financial information.
  • Preparation of accurate Business Unit reports, including full Profit & Loss accounts with commentary and analysis, Balance Sheet extracts and reconciliation, and producing profitability reports for key projects.
  • Forecasting of Profit & Loss and annual plans.
  • Management of the contract team, involving the recruitment, induction, targeting, and development of new reports. Appraisals and personal development plan production also necessary.
  • Monthly Contract and Business Unit review
  • Financial and contract support leadership and direction in the Business Unit.
  • Employ specialist knowledge and experience to provide key insights to improve performance standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will be ACCA/CIMA Newly-Qualified, from industry, and looking to step into a busy financial environment. Strong management accounting and analytical skills are essential, as well as an ability to develop and improve those around them. Self-motivation, reliability, and professionalism with strong communicative skills are needed to ensure optimal performance of the individual and the team.
