- Support the month-end close process, including managing prepayments, accruals, intercompany loan interest, and recharges.
- Analyse and interpret key factors driving revenue and expense variances by comparing actual results to budgets and prior year figures, obtaining explanations, and delivering insightful commentary
- Contribute to financial planning by assisting with annual budget preparation, variance analysis, and compliance with IFRS and FCA standards.
- Reconcile key accounts, including balance sheets, bank accounts, and credit cards, while maintaining accuracy and preparing weekly cash forecasts.
- Collaborate on statutory audits, tax requests, and internal/external audit processes to ensure regulatory and policy adherence.
- Newly qualified or ACCA/CIMA finalist
- Demonstrable hands-on experience of periodic close processes and reconciliations
- Excellent experience of applying internal control and financial reporting principles
- Strong analytical and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Excel
- Xero experience is desirable.
