Global Organisations seeks a Management Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. The Management Accountant would be responsible for several global subsidiaries.
Duties of the Management Accountant include:
- Preparation of financial statements and managing the relationship with external auditors
- Responsible for general ledger management
- Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts with bank statements
- Prepare monthly accounts for companies, following the IFRS principles
- Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany analysis
- Accruals and prepayments
- Update the fixed assets schedule and post depreciation/amortisation journals
- Accountancy support with business acquisitions
- Revenue recognition
- Review and approve invoices, expenses and ledgers
- Provide support on technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, intangible
- Suggestions of improvements and controls
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards.
- Ad hoc reporting
Requirements for the Management Accountant include:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong Excel and ERP experience
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
