I’m working with a International PR company to find a Management Accountant to join their growing team. As the company expands its services and acquires new businesses, this role plays a crucial part in the finance function, providing valuable insight into overall business performance.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the company’s continued growth. You'll look after an Accounts Assistant and collaborate with our UK and US Finance Managers to ensure seamless and efficient month-end operations.

  • Support month-end procedures, including journal entries and accuracy checks
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, covering payroll and VAT accounts
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including audit readiness
  • Reconcile billable expenses to ensure timely and accurate client invoicing
  • Ensure expenses are correctly allocated across GL codes, departments, and locations
  • Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding customer invoices
  • Prepare and submit UK VAT returns
  • Process payroll journals provided by the HR Manager
  • Maintain and organize digital finance documentation and records
  • Provide day-to-day support to UK and US Finance Managers
  • Contribute to finance-related projects, including audits, compliance surveys, and system transitions
  • Oversee and mentor the Accounts Assistant, offering guidance and support across tasks
  • ACCA/CIMA Finalist
  • Prior experience in a similar finance or operations-focused role
  • Proficient in ERP systems, NetSuite is a strong advantage
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with solid numeracy abilities
  • Highly organised and efficient, with excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
