Management Accountant FTC | Music Management Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside one of the most exciting and well respected Music Artist Management businesses in London, in the search for a Manager Accountant to join their team. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract with high levels of autonomy and influence on offer.

The Business:

Having established themselves over 30 years ago, our client have fully established themselves within their sector, home to an eclectic mix of artists that are both known globally and that are also bursting onto the scene. With an extremely strong balance sheet helping to facilitate their next growth phase, this is a business with really exciting and ambitious plans over the next 3 - 5 years.

Described as a boutique music management agency representing a diverse range of clients throughout the creative space, our client manage every aspect of their artists career. The Role:

Reporting into a fantastic Finance Director who has received multiple internal promotions throughout their tenure, this position is a fantastic role for candidates looking to add real value to the department over the course of the contract. Due to the creative nature of the industry, and the tight knit feel to the group, this will suit ambitious and outward facing candidates that enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team.

Duties:

  • Participate in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, month-end journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal management reports.
  • Assist with quarterly internal management reporting for the UK Board.
  • Update and maintain the internal reporting system, ensuring accurate actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Prepare quarterly royalty statements for head office.
  • Assist with KPI reporting.
  • Authorise and approve budgets, purchase orders, and expenses in the purchasing system.
  • Deal with supplier and client queries related to payments and finance requests.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reports as requested by the Finance Director

What we need to see (essential):

  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA Finalist / Part qualified
  • Stakeholder management skills

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Royalties experience

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + industry perks

Location: London (3 days in office / 2 days from home)
