My client, a MEDIA/ENTERTAINMENT business based near BANK STATION, is seeking an accomplished an MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join them on a whilst they begin their next exciting growth phase. This is an incredible time to join this amazing business who really value their staff.
THE ROLE
- Balance Sheet Accounting and Reconciliation, specific time pressured tasks including: Completion of monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet analysis for local and regional business units
- Review and prepare as directed by the Senior Manager, multiple UK/Ireland entity’s Balance sheet reconciliations to ensure standard processes and formats are being adhered for all
- Reconciliation and adjustments of all client balances
- Review and remediation of outstanding and aged items within the Balance Sheet with relevant teams, key areas being client related balances
- Contract Accounting - Regular review and remediation of balances to be returned in line with contractual obligations and head office financial policies
- Audit Projects, such as
o Client audits called in line with contractual terms
o US GAAP review of all areas of the Balance Sheet
o Statutory Accounts (UK GAAP) full scope review on all entities
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Senior Manager and Director, Financial Control
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Either part-qualified / studying or qualified by experience
- Strong Excel knowledge (VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, IF, AND, OR statements)
- Knowledge of SAP / Hyperion/ DDS knowledge is highly desirable
- You will need to have experience of preparing end to end management accounts
- US GAAP knowledge would be a great to have
