We are partnering with a fast-growing retail company to hire a Management Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a newly created role due to expansion and offers the opportunity to play a key role in the finance function while transitioning into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month end reconciliations including sales reporting across multiple sites
- Distribute daily sales and margin report and weekly trade pack
- Assist with preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with tax for foreign entities
- Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in management accounting within a fast-paced environment
- Retail experience highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of key financial processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Dependant on experience (equivalent day rate for temp period)
