My client - a world TECH business based in the KINGS CROSS area is seeking a MANAGEMENT_ACCOUNTANT to join them whilst they experience unprecedented growth!
This is a great role for someone who wants to take a step up to Management Accountant from Assistant Management Accountant.
The ideal candidate will have experience of MONTH END_PAYROLL_REPORTING
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue
- Post monthly revenue journals across all agencies including unbilled, late booking, future deferrals etc.
- Prepare and update revenue files across multiple entities when required
- Month end file preparation including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Input of monthly results into group reporting tool
- Audit assistance
- Ad hoc tasks including periodical analysis and group reporting
Payroll
- Responsible for all aspects of payroll checking and reporting
- Liaise with HR and payroll teams to check the monthly payroll reports and calculations. Highlight queries and resolve by payroll deadlines.
- Post payroll journals and update salaries files for FP&A teams
- Recharge of all payroll related items to various intercompany partners
- Update and reconcile the payroll related balance sheet schedules to the GL on a monthly basis; following up on any aged items and/or queries
- Post into and reconcile all payroll accounts ensuring they tie back to the GL
- Input of payroll related items into group reporting tool including monthly reporting and forecasts
- Continuous improvement of the payroll process including identifying risks and opportunities
- Audit assistance
Expenses
- Responsible for expense approvals via Concur, ensuring correct back up is provided and coding is valid
- Management of expense advances/Soldo platform and virtual cards ensuring appropriate approvals are provided.
- Monitoring of outstanding advances to ensure submission of expenses within policy timeframes
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining employee resources, including granting access to pulse/timesheets/concur where necessary
- Continuous improvement of the expenses process including identifying risks and opportunities
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Studying for a Financial Qualification
- Intermediate Excel skills - knowledge of look-up tables and sum ifs essential.
- Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
- Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
