SRM Recruitment are working with a private family office to secure them an established Management Accountant who is ideally qualified ACA/ ACCA /CIMA or equivalent. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a friendly, smaller team envirornment and who is experienced enought to work independently and take intiative. Having a flexible approach and being discreet is essential for this role.

You will play a leading role in the day to day running of the finance function. This is a really varied role, and being part of a small team the successful candidate will be happy working within a busy, "hands on" enviornment. Our client is looking for a candidate with prior experience either within a private family office, or with exposure to chairty/ trust accounting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management accounting
  • Cashflow management
  • Year-end accounts & preparation of audit packs
  • Co-ordination with external accountants, auditors & bankers
  • Liaise with commercial property investment managers
  • Attend property board meetings
  • Loan covenant reporting
  • Due diligence on charities, Not for Profits
  • Bank account and cash management, payments
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Transactional accounting, general ledger management
  • General office management (office supplies, liaise with IT provider)
  • Additional adhoc projects and reports

  • Excel - intermediate to advanced (formulas and functions, financial modelling)
  • Sage 50 and Quickbooks experience preferred
  • Some property accounting experience desirable
  • UK Tax knowledge

This role has the flexibility to be either full time or part time depending on candidate preference.

Salary circa: £45,000 - £55,000 full time

This is not a remote role.
